Glen Canyon Field School is the educational program of Glen Canyon Natural History Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Operating within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Rainbow Bridge National Monument, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and beyond, the Glen Canyon Field School provides educational adventure opportunities at the heart of the Colorado Plateau. From photography trips on land and by lake, to backpacking to paleontology and archaeology, we offer courses both short and long. We also offer custom trips...please contact us with inquiries.
Glen Canyon Natural History Association Mission Statement: We are a cooperating association that supports and funds education, research, interpretation, and visitor services within the public lands on the Colorado Plateau. Working in partnership with Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Rainbow Bridge National Monument, and Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, we promote the preservation and inspire stewardship of cultural and natural resources.
Tours Offered: Photography, Hiking, Backpacking, Kayaking, Paleontology, and Archaeology.
Season Availability: Most courses run March through October, but custom courses in the winter are possible.
